Buybacks

ETH Strategy War Games aims to create a prediction-trading game around the STRAT token. STRAT will trade as ETH beta by design. Users who believe ETH will cross the weekly price target buy STRAT to frontrun the buybacks.

Weekly Price Target

Each week, ETH Strategy will set a weekly price target for ETH. If we are over the price target at the end of the week, it will trigger a buyback. The current buyback size and a countdown to the end of the week will be visible on the ETH Strategy homepage.

If ETH is not above the price target at the end of the week, the buyback size will increase and roll into the following week. The price target will adjust as well.

Buybacks will not trigger instantaneously to minimise bots frontrunning

Buyback funding

Buybacks are funded by Treasury staking yield and revenue from options premiums.
